Yay!! (Also called a Lamb, Ram, or Goat.) As for my zodiac description... that site linked to above seemed actually pretty accurate, though most other descriptions I've read seemed to depict Sheep as rather contrary creatures, which I'm not. But I'm definitely the quiet, introspective artsy type. And as always, the job description says 'actor'. It's fate. <3

Happy Pooh Day, everyone!!! :3

Call me a sentimental dork for it, but I'm still in love with the Pooh books. They're the stuff that's built of magic (and a bit of fluff and honey, too) that keeps nightmares at bay and washes away time and heals quicker than medicine. I pity the child who grew up without some Pooh bear in their life!

That being said, I've always loved Tigger the best. He's so silly!! But as for identifying with... I guess when I was little I was always the Christopher Robin, the kid with waaaay too many stuffed animals but could never bear to part with any of them because they're all so special.

I think maybe Meggie from Inkheart, I'd give anything to visit Eleanor's house/library, go through every last one of her adventures no matter how harrowing, and besides, she can read herself AND her favorite characters in or out of any book at any time!

Or maybe Violet Baudelaire, from The Series of Unfortunate Events. Yes, her life sucked, but she met the world's most wonderfully eccentric people, lived in a steampunk era (yay steampunk!), and I love her costumes. I'd love to be able to invent things like she does, too.

But really... I think I'd most absolutely love to be Anne from Anne of Green Gables. But... wait... hey, that's right, I WAS her!! And I'd ever so gladly do it all over again. <3
Oh shiz... The Giving Tree horrified me even as a little kid! My mom loved the book, but I couldn't stand to have it read. I thought it was a cruel story, and it made me upset every time. I mean, seriously... little kids view that tree as a person, not an inanimate object! It's basically a story of suicide/murder with consent. Frickin' leech of a boy. Of all the many books I devoured as a child, that one was rarely nibbled, to say the least.

And this isn't the first time it's happened! When I did my summer work and was up until 5am, I re-read it and I had all of these amazing alliterations ("bicycles to Bokonon" WHAT?!). Yeah. Wtf, mate!
So, I really don't know a lot about politics. I mean, I know some, and I know where I stand on a few issues, but I haven't taken Government yet or any of that and I don't really pay the closest attention to the elections and all that, so I can't say I really know my stuff. But I know a little (like, an eensy weensy bit)! In some ways, it kinda fascinates me. It's kinda interesting, and it's important to me. And at the same time, it's sure a hellfire the most boring, uninteresting thing there ever has been! :P

Lately, it's been bugging me a whole lot how people keep putting me in a box based on what the religious and political views of my parents are (aka, what I thought of the world in middle school when they first met me). They aren't allowing any room at all for the fact that hey, maybe I just might have, oh, y'know, learned to think for myself, as in, like, grown up, since 7th grade? And oh, hmm, just because I'm a Christian and when you asked if I liked Obama and I said no and you asked what my parents were voting I said Republican, does that really, truly mean that I myself am traditional conservative Christian who bursts into tears at the sight of a soldier, thinks all Mexicans need to be deported, and abhors gays? Srsly. And they pride themselves in being all open-minded and whatnot.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized, I really have no clue what I am. I mean, I really do agree with the Republican party on some issues, like abortion and a government for the people, by the people. But I think democratically in some ways, and even others I'm just chilling on the fence (or, more accurately, hiding under it in wild/mild confusion while the crossfire makes all things go BOOM!).

So I decided to take this test.

            You are a

Social Conservative
(38% permissive)

and an...

Economic Liberal
(31% permissive)

You are best described as a:

Totalitarian

Link: The Politics Test on Ok Cupid
Also : The OkCupid Dating Persona Test

</center>

I am Totalitarian. Though I still don't like Obama. :P

So TAKE THAT, you box-putter-inners!!

*as for the title, there was this awesome question on the test that asked if you thought it should be legal for two adults to be able to grab their weapon of choice and duel it off in a Death Match (or something like that)... you HAVE to go take it, if ONLY for that question!

So. Just saw Dark Knight w/ Josh, Jesse, Cassie and a bunch of Cassie's peeps. Here's what I have to say about it: IT DOES NOT END. EVER. It puts the Energizer Bunny to SHAAAAME. D: I mean, it's a pretty good movie and all, but srsly... there were so many points where I was like, "Yay, finally, a good climax, it's going to end!!" only for it to go on for another 2 1/2 hours. >< There were like, 7 trillion climaxes!! UGH!! The blowing-up-stuff actually got BORING by the time he went and blew up the hospital or whatever. But my goodness, it just felt so long, it actually made LotR:RotK Extended Edition feel short in comparison. Soooo very long. But it was a good movie! Don't get me wrong. (: Oh, but there was this guy... omg. He had THE thickest eyeliner I've ever seen on a man (or most women...) EVER. And he was a normal character, too! One of the businessy people in a suit in an office being dead serious!! I had no clue who he was the whole movie, but every time he came on screen it was like "DRAG QUEEN!!" Maybe it was because I was with 2 gay guys or who knows what, but it was pretty darn hilarious, I must say. Heath Ledger was pretty psycho. That really was freaking skilled, good grief! The other guy's bad face was revolting. I think I nearly had a heart attack in the boat sequence thing.

I think I liked Batman Begins better, though. :P Sorry Heath.

So, nearly 11 hours later and completely OD'd on Avatar (16 episodes straight, stopping only for eating) it is finished.

WHY IS IT FINISHED?! D8

But ANYWAYS. OMG. IT WAS SO PRETTY!! Slight sensory overload. The colors... the sunsets, the blue/red battles... OMG ORBITINGPLANET!AVATAR. That blew my mind. And the MUSIC!! Esp. when the Old Lotus men were taking back the city, and during Azula vs. Zuko! It was terrible. In an awesome, wonderful sense of terrible. I kinda want a soundtrack of it.

And as for THE STORY ITSELF. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! Azula, omg.... yes yes yes yes!! It was like... wow. I've never actually seen an evil villain finally have a psychotic melt down and actually lose it that badly before! It was AMAZING!!!! She totally just SNAPPED!! And her mad laughter... roflol. And that hair cut!! What the heck was with that scene with her mom...? AND HEYY, what happened to mom, anyways?! WHERE IS THE ENDING?! D: You just don't leave people hanging like that. That's just wrong. SRSLY! Speaking of hanging, it was so odd, I've never been so absolutely convinced that there's no way that any of the characters could die and yet have such a panic attack when Toph and Sokka were just dangling there. Toph got so endearing in season 3!! That little bratty kid. Aww. And I love Sokka so, so much, lol! That stupid cartoon character! I really don't know if I like him or Zuko better. Which is really weird. And ZUTARA IS DEAD!! Which, even freakier, I can't decide if I like or don't like. Because really, they went along so perfectly for the longest time, and you can tell that Katara needs someone stronger than her that she can relate to, but Zuko and Mai are just so adoreable together (she actually LIKES him!! ZOMGNOWAI!!), but now, since Zuko's not emo any more, can he really relate to emo little Mai? But whatev, I guess that really doesn't matter, they like each other and make me laugh. (: And there's no way I could bear to see Aang's heart broken like that, he's been through so much, poor kid. But whoa... power-bending?! Where the heck did that come from? BUT THE LION-TURTLE. I knew it was a turtle!! I knew it knew it knew it!! From the very start!! With the hexagon! But that's gotta be the weirdest feeling, having a jungle rooted into your back? Ikes. And I was kinda dissapointed, the Lotus thing wasn't as climactic or mysterious as I was hoping it would be. :/ And there wasn't half enough Iroh!! I missed him so much, and then he got like, one battle scene? There wasn't any of his quirky Uncle-ness, and he just seemed so deadened and OOC. T.T I blame prison. BUT I WANT THE REAL UNCLE BACKK!! I mean, srsly, he didn't even SING. He ALWAYS sings!! Or something. T.T Oh, and the whole "Zuko, YOU must be the next Firelord!" thing was soooo RotK. But I really don't mind, not in the slightest. (:

I don't want it to end. :/ It feels like every time I really get into something good, like Harry Potter and Twilight and now Avatar, I always get into it at the very last second and don't have half as long to savor and enjoy everything. I mean, I've only seen the very first 3 episodes of Avatar on tv! I didn't get any of the excitement of waiting all week for a new ep. and then sitting down all jittery and excited each week; it was all just one big story I watched like turning the pages of a sped-read book, clicking episode after episode on my screen. I never got to spend the hours jumping to all sorts of wild conclusions based off of the trailers, just thinking about the characters and falling even more in love with them... and getting to spend more than a few short months in love with these characters before they're taken away for good. I really regret that. I'm going to miss them so much. So if anyone knows of any good series that are starting up right now... warn me. (:

SPOILERZ SPOILERZ SPOILERZ!!! 8D

What happens?
Lupin invites Bellatrix and Caz for dinner? He either A) has a death wish or B) wants to find out if the Oh So Mighty Magic Duelling Queen can be pwnd by an Oh So Mighty Swordsman. Or he's trying to get Caz killed or brainwashed, really quickly.
My bet is that Caz would get confused really quickly by the constant use of magic and try to find some way out of there, Bella would gleefully take advantage of the fact and attempt to be the most awesome and friendly person Lupin has met, Lupin would get confused and still be suspicious of Bella and would be running around the entire time trying to get Caz to stop running away and EAT THE FRICKIN FOOD!

9 tries to get 5 into a strip club.
WHAT?!!? (:

2 and 7 are making out and 10 walks in. What’s their reaction?
Anne and... Luc?! Eww. Alex would probably raise an eyebrow and leave, closing the door with uneccesary force for her personal enjoyment.

3 falls in love with 6, 8 is jealous.
ROFL @ Bella falling in love with ANYBODY, but Scip?! RUUUUUUUUN!!!

4 jumps into a dark alleyway; who comes to rescue them, 10, 2 or 7?
Luc, though Lupin really doesn't need any saving... back-up, more like it.

1 decides to start a new cooking show. 15 minutes later, what’s happening?
She is delightedly cooking something that would put even Asians to shame with her kickgrass Hufflepuff cooking skillz.

3 has to marry 8, 4, or 9. Who do they choose?
Bella would kill them all, make it look like a freak accident, and happily continue with her life.

7 kidnaps 2 and demands something of 5 for 2’s release. What is it?
BOOKZZ!!!

Everyone gangs up on 3; does 3 have a chance in hell?
What kind of suicidal IDIOT gangs up on BELLATRIX?! I'm scared for everyone else. D:

Everyone’s invited to 2 and 10’s wedding, except for 8. How do they react?
I want to see how that happens, Luc+a sassy Mexican. Lol. Caz would lol as well.

Why is 6 afraid of 7?
Because she's a BA redhead who will talk his ears into nonexistence.

1 arrives late for 2 and 10’s wedding. What happens, why were they late?
Well, she's probably dead, or she's planning on bursting in at the "Speak now or forever hold your peace" part, doing a quick AK on Alex, stealing her veil and marrying Luc herself.

5 and 9 get roaring drunk and end up at your house; what happens?
I strap them both to chairs, yell at them until they're sober, yell at them some more, threaten to demolish Ri if she ever gets into alcohol ever again, much less give it to poor innocent unsuspecting Schroeder, then introduce them both to the wonder that is Martinelli's. :D

9 murders 2’s best friend; what does 2 do to get vengeance?
He'd mope and cry and be dramatic, then wipe his snivvely nose off, man up, and magically send Ri to St. Mungo's and conveniently forget to tell her the way out.

6 and 1 are in mortal danger, and only one of them can survive. Does 6 save themselves or 1?
Scip, being a good gentleman, would save Steph, then realize that she's magical and could probably have pwnd whatever is mortally threatening them as he faces his doomish fate with rapier in hand.

8 and 3 go camping, and forget to bring food. What do they do?
Bellatrix conjures up food out of nowhere and refuses to share it, so Caz, unable to find decent berries and on the point of starvation, attempts to kill Bella in her sleep but she, being a light sleeper, wakes up and turns his sword into something tasty and then makes him go fishing.

5 is in a car crash and is critically injured; what does 9 do?
Feels sorry for the poor kid (after all, she did expose his innocent little mind to strip clubs and alcohol) and write him a nice get well letter, since she WILL NOT go into that @#$@#% hospital, no matter who is dying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HUME!!
It rained today.
The puddles are gone now, but the sky still hovers charcoal grey and low, almost protective, and a wind is stirring through the trees. Thunder is growling somewhere, like a deep aching. The world outisde is electric. It's beautiful. And we've been promised more, the next few days. Thunder and lightening. The cold.
So beautiful.
...
In other news, I've decided that Muse it the ultimate band of Bellatrix's soul. It's almost as if they wrote every song with a knowledge of her inner torments, her deepest desires, her trauma, her weakest moments and greatest triumphs. It's kind of scary. Really, really scary, in fact.
Her most fitting songs (so far): New Born, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Microcuts, Take a Bow, Showbiz, Escape, and Uno.
While their slurred, dischordant, nearly screamo-ish sound might've been an initial turn off for me regarding Muse (I kind of like it now... it's very spacey [:), they write BEAUTIFUL lyrics. They're absolutely gorgeous, and while their mostly negative stuff is really pretty, their few songs about happiness (which are really, really happy...) are even prettier. But it can get really depressing listening to them. So bah. :P
This looked right up my alley, so I figured I'd take a jab at it.
I think, of all the books I've read and cherish, I'm most like Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I acted like her a lot when I was a kid, forever in the shadow of my beloved older brother, doing anything to be the third wheel whenever a friend came over. I was a tomboy, gleefully accepting hand-me-downs and sporting them proudly. Even now I'd still rather hang around with the guys than be stuck with a bunch of hairbrained girls. We're both pretty proud people, especially when it comes to being girly, and to say the least we're both really, really obstinant. We're both positively voracious readers as well! ;) I'm a lot shyer than her, though, and I've got a pretty chill temper, so I've never actually hit anyone (except for my brother... but he deserved it xD). But like her, it's taken a few years to fully understand and to accept the dignity that comes with being a lady. And we admire Atticus Finch. He's my hero, and I hope someday I can write that I relate most to him.
And the all-important hip-flask of holy water. It's quite good when sprinkled on missionaries.
Question: Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
My Answer: It IT in U?
Question: How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?
My Answer: The same; I'd just have some killer claws. >D
Question: This is a colon : and this is a semi-colon ; - what's a semi-truck?
My Answer: A rebellious vehicle for people with a fear of conjunctions.
Question: What kind of tape is best for creating a sculpture?
My Answer: Double-sided sticky tape. Because it CAN.
Question: How do you pronounce the G in bologna?
My Answer: With a lisp.
Question: The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?
My Answer: Eat. Sleep. Hop. Poop. Swim. Hop some more. Eat some more. Poop some more. Sleep some more. Croak a bit. Get run over by a car. The end.
Questions: You have a red jar of cedar chips. Why do moths miss the forest?
My Answer: Because they're the only ones who REALLY know what the sound of a tree falling in the forest when no one is there to hear it sounds like.
Question: If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?
My Answer: By simply reminding myself that I AM NOT A MIDDLE SCHOOLER.
Question: Your hand has been replaced by a rubber stamp. What does it say?
My Answer: D: NUUUU... wait. Can that be my left hand? I sort of need my right one... Hmm. 'PWND!' would be a fun thing to randomly stamp everywhere.
Question: You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?
My Answer: Teal sequined tap shoes.
Question: You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. (:
Question: Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?
My Answer: Banana. It goes VOOM and when you leave it for a really long time in a hot car, it turns black and gets hard and has a texture like wood! And it smells bad, too. But in a weirdly not stinky sort of way. It's fascinating.
Question: What's the best time you've ever had licking stamps?
My Answer: THEY DID USE TO LICK THEIR STAMPS. MY MOM DID WHEN SHE WAS LITTLE. But I never got to lick any. But I did have a stamp collection, actually I sort of inherited my mom's from when she was in Vietnam/came over to America, and it was really neat and old, and there's this technique to getting them off the envelope that's cool and yeah.
Question: When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
My Answer: I wrote Hope is Emo and together we wept and held a protest against rose cruelty the next week outside K-Mart.
Question: Radio wire is often used to make bird nests. GRAPES DO NOT TASTE LIKE FEET.
Question: What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
My Answer: I didn't have TV as a child. Pity me. ):
[/end procrastination]
